Scalp micro pigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that implants tiny dots that mimic hair follicles. It helps camouflage receding and thinning areas and results in a fuller looking scalp with more colour density. It can also achieve a shaved or ‘buzzed’ look for people who are experiencing baldness.

This is the answer for both men and women who may be experiencing a receding hairline, thinning hair, hair loss and pattern baldness. The number of sessions required will vary from person to person depending on their needs and level of hair thinning or hair loss.

In the first session, we will examine the level of hair loss and discuss the clients’ desired results and the level of colour density they would like to achieve. Results can be expected to last 2-5 years, but as with all cosmetic tattooing procedures, fading will occur over time, and may vary from person to person. When fading starts to become noticeable, it’s time for a touch up!
