Reiki & Cranio-Sacral Therapy
Reiki
45 mins: $90 / 60 mins: $100
Reiki is derived from Japanese, meaning Rei (Universal) and Ki (Life Energy). Reiki is an art of hands-on energy healing.
Reiki can be defined as a non-physical healing energy made up of life force energy that is guided by the Higher Intelligence, or spiritually guided life force energy. This is a functional definition as it closely parallels the experience of those who practice. Reiki energy seems to have an intelligence of its own flowing where it is needed in the client and creating the healing conditions necessary for the individuals needs. It cannot be guided by the mind, therefore it is not limited by the experience of ability of the practitioner. Neither can it be misused as it always created a healing effect. (It must be kept in mind that Reiki is not the same as simple life force energy as life force energy by itself can be influenced by the mind and because of this, can create benefit as well as cause problems including ill health).
Reiki works for both physical and psychological aspects of health by reactivating our bodies natural ability to heal. A Reiki treatment is administered by a practitioner who receives Reiki energy from the Universe. With simply laying-on of hands, the practitioner transmits the energy to the receiver.

The placement of the hands should never be intrusive or inappropriate, nor should there be any pressure.
This non-invasive, completely benign healing technique is becoming more and more popular. As western medicine continues to explore alternative methods of healing, Reiki is destines to play an important role as an accepted and valued healing practice.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy
45 MIN CRANIO-SACRAL TREATMENT: $90
Cranio-Sacral Therapy is based on the theory that along with the respiratory and cardiac rhythms in the body, there is also a cranio-sacral rhythm. The cranio-sacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth, which make up the cranium, down to the sacrum.
The Cranio-Sacral Therapy practitioner uses a light touch to test for restrictions in the cranio-sacral system. This is done by monitoring the rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid as it flows through the system. The positive effects of cranio-sacral Therapy rely to a large extent on the body’s natural self-corrective abilities. The therapist’s light touch simply assists the hydraulic forces inherent in the cranio-sacral system to improve the body’s internal environment and strengthen its ability to heal itself.

CRANIO-SACRAL THERAPY IS:
a gentle practice of detection and correction that encourages the body’s own natural healing mechanisms to dissipate the negative effects of stress and trauma on the central nervous system. It is often used for post concussion syndrome, rehabilitation after a motor vehicle injury as well as for general wellness and balance for ADHD, anxiety, and depression. It is also a tool for maintenance of general wellness and self care.
